FMA GPNVG-Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle Model

TB1289

The GPNVG, which stands for Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle, refers to the 97-degree field of view of this night vision device. It consists of four 18mm intensifier tubes divided into two groups and distributed on the left and right sides, providing a significant visual advantage. As a result, this ground version night vision goggle was immediately adopted by all special units of Country M, with its most famous appearance being in the operation known as "Spear of Poseidon". The DG, equipped with this night vision goggle, carried out the mission to capture Bin Laden, and this device can be seen in both movies and real-life photos.

The current mainstream night vision device interfaces can be divided into three types, with the most important ones being ANVS (Aviation Specification) and BNVS (Ground Specification). Based on the equipment of current units, ANVS is mainly used by army units such as CAG and SF Green Berets, as well as air force units like STS and PJ. BNVS is primarily used by navy units like NSW SEAL and DG, and this type of night vision device is also widely used by law enforcement agencies and various special units within the NATO framework. The specific model of the device depends on the unit it is associated with. For example, FBI HRT often trains together with CAG, so their GPNVG also uses the ANVS specification. These two interface specifications have no difference in terms of usage, only in terms of the bridge and interface of the night vision device. However, GPNVG is not without its drawbacks, as its diopter is non-adjustable. Therefore, GPNVG has not completely replaced traditional monocular or binocular night vision devices. Of course, it is very cool, and no one would question that.

The new generation of FMA GPNVG has changed its material and structure, making it more realistic. The movable parts and operability are designed to be identical to the real thing, and it provides modification space for users with strong hands-on abilities. The accompanying power battery box and power interface are functional objects, and both the aviation and ground versions have the potential for such modifications. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon is used in the material, which is the same as the real thing. The lenses are coated to maximize the color and fidelity of the material. The operability is completely restored according to the real thing, and the fine-tuning function is consistent.

The cables and battery box that come with the new generation FMA GPNVG are fully replicated in terms of details and functionality. They are powered by 4 CR123A batteries and can provide power to night vision devices and other equipment. They are made of the same reinforced nylon material as the GPNVG and have been treated for waterproofing. They can be used stably in complex environments with high humidity and high temperature. The cables are made of real-spec interface cable material, which is highly reliable in terms of strength, waterproofing, wear resistance, and pull resistance.

The FMA is launching two versions this time, the GPNVG and the GPNVG dedicated battery box, which can be purchased separately by users.
